The simplest first step is to show up. Come to a meeting — the calendar's right above, with dates, locations, and Zoom links — and see what we're about. They're open to anyone, and you don't need to know how any of this works to walk in the door. Most of us started exactly that way.
Once you've got a feel for it, there's more to do whenever you're ready: volunteer for a candidate, pitch in on an event, or take on a bigger role as you find your footing.
If you're able to give, neighbor donations are what keep this running. Small gifts from people who actually live here fund the unglamorous work that wins local races — voter outreach, candidate support, the literature and doorknocking every campaign needs. And Minnesota makes it nearly free to chip in: through the state's Political Contribution Refund (PCR), you can get back up to $75 per person ($150 per couple) for giving to a local unit like ours. Donate and we'll send you the receipt you need to claim it.
