Bloomington Ballot Question - Ranked Choice Voting

The Minnesota DFL and SD50 DFL support Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) through our party platform and caucus resolutions.

At our August meeting, Senate District 50 Central Committee voted as a district to supporting the Yes on #3 campaign to bring Ranked Choice Voting to Bloomington for Mayor and City Council elections.

This election, Bloomington voters will decide if they want to use Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) to elect their mayor and city council members starting in 2021. RCV empowers voters, fosters diversity and inclusion, encourages positive campaigning and saves tax dollars.
